Brodsky Quartet is a major player at the forefront of the international chamber music scene. Since its formation in 1972 it has given over two thousand concerts on the major stages of the world. Its obvious love and highly acclaimed mastery of the traditional string quartet repertoire is evident in its performances of Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert and Tchaikovsky through to Britten, Respighi, Bartok and Shostakovich.

One of Britain’s most celebrated orchestras, the Hallé consistently meets with great critical acclaim for its performances, and this warm reception has been extended to its new label on Sanctuary Classics.
